A Life's Work, Review 2

A hard hitting read you won't want to put down.

The author packs a punch by grabbing the reader’s attention, despite jumping backwards and forwards in Oliver Bennet’s life, but it was clear to see that the horrific event Oliver witnessed as a 5-year-old boy has had a significant impact on his behaviour, values, opinions and career along with his general outlook on life.

The book appears to represent Oliver’s quest to achieve closure on the childhood trauma he suffered and the effect this has had on him. This is a powerful story from an author who shows great promise for the future.
