A crime suspense novel like no other!
... As a nurse I am fully aware of the complexities of mental illness, and I'm fascinated with personality disorders. It is sometimes hard to demonstrate this in a novel but, John has carried this out expertly.
Just when you think you've figured it all out something else is unearthed to throw a spanner in the works and you have to continue adding pieces to the thrilling puzzle that is Tom's life.
You're taken on a roller coaster of emotions (confusion, sadness, admiration, and anger) whilst reading this book from the first page to the very last.
I was desperate to see what would happen next whilst at the same time not wanting the story to come to an end.
The ending was poignant, emotional, and perfect, you'll have to read it for yourself to see why!
I would highly recommend this book to anyone.
